CCTV Tuesday revealed the agenda for the commemorative ceremony to mark the 70th anniversary of the victory of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression: 1. President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan will greet guests from countries across the world at 9 am Thursday. After taking group photos, they will ascend Tian´anmen Gate Tower and wait for the ceremony to begin. 2. Commemorative ceremony will start at 10 o´clock. After a 70-gun salute, a flag-rising ceremony will be held. 3. President Xi will deliver a speech. 4. After Xi reviews the troops onboard a car, march-past performance starts, which is estimated to last more than 50 minutes.
