Wal-Mart is the world´s largest retailer, but maybe not for much longer. Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba is well on its way to the top spot, according to Wells Fargo´s Matt Nemer and Trisha Dill. Alibaba is the clear e-commerce leader in China, and stands to gain market share from the overall e-commerce growth in China, and longer-term, international expansion. They estimated Alibaba will soon be the largest retailer in the world, with much better returns and margins than the current leader Wal-Mart.
