Malaysia´s handling of the discovery of a wing part that apparently came from missiong Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 has worsened frictions with its partners in the investigation and further dented the country´s battered credibility. Many questioned the timing and motives of Malaysian prime minister, Najib Razak, who announced on Thursday that the wing part had been "conclusively confirmed" as being from the missing plane. He spoke before a news conference in Paris at which French investigators were more guarded, saying experts had "very strong presumptions" that the part came from the plane. The Malaysian transportation minister later said a Malaysian team had found more aircraft debris on the French island of Reunion but French authorities later denied the claim.
